Take a break and find out whats in this book.

You decide to take a break.. You take the book, along with a cold beverage up to your room and sit down at your desk, prepared to spemnd a little while finding out what this old book is all about... Running your hands over the cover, you look can barely make out the title, written in worn, cracked lettering "Runes of Manipulation". Strange title, you think to yourself as you open cover of the book.

The pages are very brittle, as a matter of fact the first few blank pages within the book crack and nearly fall to pieces just by turning them. Carefully you flip through the pages, careful not to destroy anymore than you already have.. The pages have no words whatsoever, each one seems to have some sort of strange symbol, the likes of which you have never seen.. "Well, this is turning out to be useless, who wants a book filled with random drawings..", you think to yourself.

Turning back to the first page you take a closer look at the first symbol.. You look over it trying to figure out what it could possibly be.. Thinking on it, you reach down and idly run your finger along the lines of the symbol. You jerk your hand back as you notice the part you traced your finger over beginning to glow a strange blue color.. "What the hell?!"
