  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

I'm thinking that I'm going to do a turkey, rice stir fry for tonight! And beer!

IDK why, but it always seems weird to me when people use turkey in recipes - except right after Thanksgiving. I'm not judging, it just never occurs to me to use turkey in anything.

I do love a good turkey, as long as it's not overcooked and dry! It is one of those things that really needs to be watched for temperature, and once it gets above 165°f, it should be removed from the oven. Once it gets over 200, it will start to dry out.

Besides, I'm using lunch meat turkey. I was given some sliced turkey, and I'll just dice it up and add it in with the veggies and rice. And I just realized I forgot to get some hoisin sauce! Oh well.

Anyway, I do love the winter turkey season! Especially if I get a full bird. Once I roast it, I get all the meat off, and use the bones for stock! I really love using turkey stock! It has a lot of gelatin and it makes for a great soup or stew! (Unfortunately, my crock pot is currently cracked and so I've got to get a new one!)

It does make excellent stock! I always make turkey soup after Thanksgiving. Ususally dumpling.

Get an Instant Pot. It has a slow cooker feature, so you'll have a slow cooker and a pressure cooker - and an air fryer if you choose the model with that. I love mine!

My brother introduced me to Costco's rotisserie chicken, and at $5 for a whole bird, that is really great!

Having a crowd for a casual supper, so I’m thinking taco bar. Crock pots make it easy to keep a couple different meats and beans warm, lots of toppings can be prepped ahead, easy sides of cilantro-lime rice, corn, and salads. Still pondering desserts.

It turned out to be a hit! We did churros and Mexican wedding cookies for dessert.
For "casual", we usually do BBQ, so it was nice that no one had to stand over the grill the whole time.

@Truthful 1 I would have just given your post a like out of politeness. But since you tagged me telling me that this is Italian I have to be truthfully honest with you. What the fuck is it? Please don’t tell me it’s pizza, please don’t.

As long as you enjoyed whatever that thing is that’s all that matters. Then again I would never take food advice from someone who payed $140.00 for two cheeseburgers and a couple of watered down drinks ;)

I was out for dinner and tried a dish basically because it was the oddest combination of ingredients I’d seen in quite some time.

Beef brisket, caramelized onions and mushrooms in a bleu cheese sauce, served over penne. :O_o::bored:

It was … okay? The brisket was delicious, the sauce was tasty but a little watery, the penne cooked perfectly.

Weird weird weird. I ate it but wouldn’t order it again.

I used to love going into restaurants with well-behaved children, just to watch the faces of people like you. :D

26 of them all at once?

We went into a pizza place once, my two well-behaved kids, and three girls we kept for a neighbor while they closed on their house.
The three girls were little angels. After we were done with only one drink spilled, the waitstaff commended on us and our kids.
We entered, They rolled their eyes, played rock/paper/scissors on who would wait our table, and clean it up. And were impressed at our visit.
      That felt good.
