who finds it impossible to be attracted to girls I grew up with or knew since I was little? Thinking back, with one exception, I've always seen girls I grew up with or went through school with before high school as just classmates or if I grew up with them then like siblings. I've only ever been attracted to complete strangers or girls who came into the picture later. I mean even in high school I saw girls I went to gradeschool with or grew up with as nonsexual people and found it weird when guys would talk about them that way.

Even now, though it's been years, if one of them came up to me and wanted to fuck me, I'd still feel weird about it, like I was crossing a line or something.

I don't know, maybe this will change once I've been away long enough to just see them the same way I see strangers and girls I meet and have met since then.

Makes sense to a degree , I have a friend that we went through school together and grew up in the same circles and tried the "friends with benefits" thing and it did feel weird and we decided to just keep it as friends without benefits , lol .

I was so in love with a chick from my high school but she was a grade higher then me so I went out with her sister just to get close to her , lol .

Since I don't hang out in the same circles as I did in high school, I don't see any girls I knew from high school. The closet thing to seeing them I get is when they pop up in my Facebook News Feed, which is rare as well.

I think it might be nice to meet some of my old crushes again and see what happens, to see if those feeling would come back and I'd be the shy kid again, or if they wouldn't have that much of an effect on me anymore.

The big crush I had through most of high school is still beautiful, so I don't know if old memories and feelings would surface.

This sounds alot like how I am. Some of the kids I went to school with, I work with so I don't see them as sexually attractive. They are more like my siblings. Yes, I do notice facets of them but I'm not looking to get together with them. I'm more likely to protect them from someone else's advances than look at them as a potential girlfriend.
