The popularity of these posts made me think about myself and men in general.

The majority of female MMA fighters don't fit into conventional beauty standards (more muscle than body fat on the hips, breast etc.) and their faces can't be classed as the most pretty either (with some exceptions). Not to mention the fact that they often suffer haematomas, broken facial bones, black eyes etc. due to their profession.
Despite these imperfections however, many men (myself included) find them attractive, and not just PVZ or Karate Hottie who are actually quite pretty.
What is the reason for this?
My theory is that many men feel more comfortable in the company (or imagined company) of women who share their interests, such as in fighting and are willing to overlook the fact that they don't have model good looks.
Many female athletes come from modest means, are more humble (not having been beauty queens in HS) and spend more time in the gym in a majority male company than bitching with their female friends. Due to their long training camps, they also often have a high libido.

TL; DR - Stop chasing Stacies and bang out the horny and straight track & field/ wrestling chicks behind the bleachers.
